1、介绍传动部位的间隙不能过大，一般控制在0.2～0.5mm左右，齿轮与齿条吻合时齿底的间隙为2.0mm。啮合间隙过大或齿轮齿条磨损严重都是很危险的，啮合深度不够、磨损严重或轴向错位过大，都会使啮合面积减小而造成齿轮齿条强度降低，发生断齿事故。齿轮齿条只挂住齿尖，啮合面个别连1/3都达不到或新旧齿条不均匀，有异响或震动，这是非常危险的。
